MediaWiki:Blockedtext is shown to directly blocked users when they try to edit a page. Users prevented from editing due to autoblocks (automatic blocks of IP addresses used by blocked users, or users editing from blocked IP addresses) will be shown MediaWiki:Autoblockedtext instead.
MediaWiki:Copyrightwarning is displayed under the edit box when editing a page. It contains a warning regarding the copyright status of submitted edits. It accepts wiki markup.
MediaWiki:Disambiguationspage lists disambiguation templates (and redirects to them) to generate the list of disambiguation pages for Special:Disambiguations. Links to the template namespace are parsed, with all other text ignored.
MediaWiki:Common.js contains JavaScript that will be loaded for all users. This file is loaded for all users, but there are similar files affecting only users of specific skins (see below); although only Monobook.js is listed on Special:Allmessages, the other skin-specific stylesheets will work nonetheless.
if $wgAllowUserJs is set to true, users can customize the interface for themselves only by creating user subpages with lowercase titles (see below).

MediaWiki:Movepage-moved is shown to the user when a page is moved. It accepts wiki markup.
MediaWiki:Protectedinterface contains the message displayed when a user attempts to edit a system message in the MediaWiki: namespace but does not have the appropriate permissions to do so.
By default, this message contains: This page provides interface text for the software, and is locked to prevent abuse.
MediaWiki:Protectedpagetext is shown to the user when they attempt to edit a page that is protected or semi-protected from editing. Parameters: $1: it describes the protection level, either "autoconfirmed" (semi-protected) or "protect" (fully protected).
MediaWiki:Revertpage is used as the default summary for reverts.
